The CHS Chronicle Art and Meme Competition

Posted on March 22, 2020May 3, 2020 by Chronicle Staff

Chances are, most people reading this are probably bored out of their minds right now.

However, the Chronicle is looking for a way to make the experience just a bit more enjoyable – through our first-ever art and meme contest!

These will be two separate contests running at the same time (as everyone knows that the human spirit is divided between artists and memers). Make a submission and submit it through the correct Google form (your name is optional) below for a chance to win $20! We will also highlight an honorable mention for both contests. You are allowed ONE submission per person (if you submit multiple, only the most recent submission will be judged).

The best submissions will be selected by a group of hand-picked judges (probably just the editors of the Chronicle; we’re trying our best).

Art: You can submit anything from a painting to a drawing to a photo — get creative! The art does have to be something you can see, though, so music does not count . There’s an optional description that you can attach to your design that, if you are selected, will be printed alongside your art.

Here’s the link for submitting art: Email andrewharper@chatham-nj.org with questions regarding the art competition.

Memes: Memes that relate to CHS or the quarantine tend to be funnier, but feel free to explore other topics as well! Obviously, please make the memes school-appropriate.

Here’s the link for submitting memes: Email willychan@chatham-nj.org with questions regarding the meme competition.

Submissions are due April 30th. If you have any questions, feel free to email andrewharper@chatham-nj.org or willychan@chatham-nj.org. We hope you’re having a good time in quarantine!
