2025 Spotify Wrapped

Posted on December 22, 2025December 23, 2025 by Piper Tagle

2025 Spotify Wrapped officially launched on December 3rd, once again turning personal listening habits into a global conversation. This year’s “wrapped” introduced several new features designed to make the experience feel more interactive and reflective to your personality and personal journey through 2025.

“Listening Age” compared your music habits to your life stage, while “Wrapped Party” and “Archives” let users revisit their past eras of listening and see how their taste evolved. Spotify also expanded its rankings with “Top 5 albums,” an addition its listeners have long waited for, and “Fan Leaderboards” that show your dedication compared to other listeners. There was even a “Top Song Quiz” that tested how well you remembered your most-listened-to songs. Listeners even got to see their “play counts” of their top playlists to reflect on just how much time they spent listening to their comfort songs.

On a global scale, renowned artist Bad Bunny claimed the title of Spotify’s “most-streamed artist” for his third consecutive year, further proving his worthiness of being this year’s Super Bowl halftime performer. In the United States, artists such as Taylor Swift, Drake, and Morgan Wallen dominated charts once again, leading streams across multiple genres. Beyond the rankings, “Wrapped” revealed a year of listening into a story that expressed our lives and who we really are, giving the listeners a sense of community and a sense of belonging.
