Summer French Exchange Trip

Friday, September 23rd, 2016

For the second year in a row, a group of French students, with Madame Caulfield, went through an exchange program with another high school in France in a town located in between Monaco and Italy. They spent ten days there with their exchange families. During the week, the students collectively travelled to different cities in the south of France to learn more about the French culture and to practice speaking the language.

The students were able to experience famous cities such as Cannes, Nice, and Monte Carlo during their trip and were given a guided tour in Cannes. Nice was reserved for shopping for families and for themselves. While in Monte Carlo, the students walked to the Prince’s palace and were able to go inside. The weekends were spent individually with the families, so every student’s experience was different and so they could get a true sense of what living in a French town is really like.
