Emma Haberman: This photo was taken in an abandoned greenhouse my friend and I came about when we were taking pictures. To anyone else, the greenhouse would’ve probably been considered a big eye sore, and trust me it definitely wasn’t pleasant being there, but it made for some really cool photos. The broken glass and trash created really complex lighting which I tried to capture in this photo to frame a subject.

Naomi Boyd: The prompt for February was to go to a place where you wouldn’t usually take pictures. I brought a camera on a shopping trip to Target and saw this clip. The lighting was pretty bad (fluorescent lighting) and I was honestly scared of getting yelled at by people in red shirts and tan pants (yikes)! Challenges are good though!

Rachel Kurlandsky: This photo was taken from the inside of my cup of water. I thought it was really interesting how the ice was lining up and the light was shining through. While I don't think a plastic Solo cup is necessarily the most glamorous object on its own, I think the picture captures the fact that there is beauty in everything. You might just have to look at something a different way to be able to see it!
