Ever since I could read, I have been obsessed. When I was younger, I used to read several books in a week. During the school years I don’t find that much time anymore, but I still open a book whenever I find myself stressed and in need of a break. Over the summer I catch up, and sometimes read as much as thirty or forty large books.
A shared love of reading has also connected my sister and I; whenever she is away at school, it’s hard to find things to talk about, so texting each other about books we’re currently enjoying is a great way to keep in touch. The book in the photo is The Help by Kathryn Stockett. I can’t say it’s my favorite book- I can never choose anyway- but it’s definitely on my list. I would highly recommend it!

This photo really shows my personality because I love dancing and I love being able to dance in the city. I took this photo at the Ailey Center in New York City after a performance I had with the Lydia Johnson Student Company. We got to choreograph our own dances and really express ourselves through different movements. My feet are in color because dancing brings life to me and color is a sign of energy and excitement.

This picture was taken of my brother. I think it describes our relationship which is sort of random, we get along sometimes, but we´re always there for each other. He is a big part of my life and is always there. In the picture you catch my brother in his bathrobe and pjs with sparklers I had just found. I was dying to try out new camera tricks and he was there to help, like always.
