CPAC Preview

Monday, November 30th, 2015
It’s the most wonderful time of the year… CPAC season!  Every year, the Chatham Performing Arts Club puts on a winter showcase, highlighting the students of Chatham High.  The show consists of singing, dancing, acting, and includes both school groups and individually created acts.  Year after year, CPAC brings out the best talent Chatham has to offer, and this show will be no exception.

This year, a diverse array of groups was selected through an audition process that took place in early November. Twenty one acts were selected to perform.  These include the student-created groups Siren and the Magpie, Suburban Lumberjacks, and No Strings Attached, along with the Jazz Band, Varsity Vocals, and the Dance Club, which will all be debuting new numbers.  Individual student performers include Elizabeth Stuart, Woanjun Lee, Fallon Sullivan, Molly Kate Dinnhaupt, Julia Contorno, Lilly McGrath, Eitan Miller, Mali Cassak, and Hallie Kaisand.  Duets will be performed by Kate Drury and Kate Evans, Avery Pedell and Neil McCaffery, Kimmi Neuschulz and Maeve Peebles, Alex Lynch and Kimmy Scaglione, and Catherine Brough and Rima San Pietro.  Alex Stuart, Elizabeth Stuart, Julia Contorno, and Katherine Switzer will be performing as a quartet.

The CPAC officers are the ones to thank for this incredibly talented lineup.  Deborah Vandervort, Anna Elston, Zach Ball, Alex Lynch, and Rima San Pietro have been working for weeks to put together the show, with the help of Mr. Meguerian, the faculty advisor.  This year, CPAC is taking place on December 11th at 7:00 PM in the auditorium.  Feel free to stop by for some holiday cheer, and to see what these performances have in store!
