For the second year in a row, a group of French students, with Madame Caulfield, went through an exchange program with another high school in France in a town located in between Monaco and Italy. They spent ten days there with their exchange families. During the week, the students collectively travelled to different cities in the south of France to learn more about the French culture and to practice speaking the language.

The language clubs often take multiple field trips throughout the year. Earlier in the year, the French Club went on a trip to Cafe Monet to experience a traditional French lunch. Recently, they went into New York to see the musical, An American in Paris on Broadway. Before the show, students were able to go shopping in Columbus Square and stop to have lunch. After the amazing show, the students were able to meet Brandon Uranowitz. He plays Adam Hochberg, who is friends with the main character, Jerry Mulligan. Everyone took the train in and out of the city, which added to the fun and experience of the trip.

Junior Scarlett Blydenburgh won her match as first singles for the third time, 6-4, 7-6. Second doubles, freshman Seden Agar and junior Laurel Hickey won 6-2, 6-1, and senior Jen McCann and Junior Abby Morgan won 6-4, 7-6. In another area of success, the Varsity Football team is currently 2-1 with wins against Roxbury and High Point.

The first two weeks of May tend to cause students a great deal of stress. Walking down the hallway of the high school, you are bound to find someone carrying a review book, or at least talking about an upcoming test they have later on. Many juniors and seniors take more than one AP class throughout the year, and then take each corresponding test.

"This year I actually had two APs on the same day which was brutal. I was testing from 7:30(am) -4:30(pm)," says Abby Druhot, a junior who took the AP English Literature and Physics tests.

It's that time of the year again, time for the infamous March Madness. A time filled with triumph and misery. Each year, people fill out their brackets with hopes of near perfection, though as the tournament begins and ends, people's high hopes often fall into disappointment. However, in very lucky cases, people are actually somewhat happy with how their brackets turned out.
